Catarina has a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra (2000-2005).
She did her internship at the prestigious law firm “João Nabais e Associados” (2006-2009).
During this period (2007) she completed a postgraduate degree at the Catholic University of Porto in Tax Law.
In 2009, after being enrolled in the Portuguese Bar Association, she began her career as a lawyer at the firm “João Nabais e Associados”, working preferably in the areas of Administrative/Tax Law and Criminal Law.
Since 2013 she has been practicing law independently, having collaborated increasingly closely and regularly with PGS, namely in the implementation of strategies in the areas of Administrative Law and Tax Law, connected with Criminal Law. She has always been especially focused on International investment and the implementation of best tax planning practices.
Since 2015 she has been dedicated, with recognized success, to legal advice to emerging companies in the areas of Information Technology (IT), Software, Game Theory, cryptocurrencies and Strategic Interaction.
Due to her vast experience and personal interest, she quickly grasps matters of a technical nature.
Her knowledge, experience and personality allow her to build bridges between people and organizations from different cultural, legal and corporate backgrounds.
Catarina speaks English, French and Spanish fluently.
