Therefore, it is not necessary to give up another nationality to acquire Portuguese nationality. Portugal<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Was once Portuguese and lost nationality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can also apply for Portuguese nationality if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">you are under 18 or incapable and your father or mother acquired Portuguese nationality after being born<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">you are a member of a Portuguese community abroad<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">you have
